it seems that bias, prejudice, and discrimination are alive and well everywhere

Moreover, there is the same system dynamics everywhere. Understanding discrimination as a long-term result of personal biases is a big step. Those biases also reflect in politics and social life, which makes that coating of humanity even more thin and flimsy. People become reactive and agressive in a blink of an eye, everywhere. I’m not sure how to do it, but we as humankind just need to learn how to listen each other before expressing own voices.
