When men are not actively contributing to the system, the system forgets about them. The “patriarchy” then, doesn’t care about men either.

That’s THE point. As far as I understand moderate feminist movements, they don’t image a world where all men are happier and stronger than all women. The problem is that the “patriarchy” (as a system) has a lot of issues both for men and women. However, women are excluded (or were systematically excluded) from many social institutes, which leads to inequality and discrimination.
