When men are not actively contributing to the system, the system forgets about them. The “patriarchy” then, doesn’t care about men either.

That’s THE point. As far as I understand moderate feminist movements, they don’t image a world where all men are happier and stronger than all women. The problem is that the “patriarchy” (as a system) has a lot of issues both for men and women. However, women are excluded (or were systematically excluded) from many social institutes, which leads to inequality and discrimination. The following article was written on the other topic, but I feel it’s connected to the discussed topic.
